About the Artist: Born in Cuba, Alan Zuniga's parents decided to flee Castro's communism in 1961, when he was 6 years old. Growing up in the southeast United States, with a decided affection for sports, he combined his artistic talent with a desire and inspiration to capture great moments in Sports History through his art. Alan has received various commissions for major works of art. Included are a commission for the Ryoko Golf Club in Saporro, Japan, Varsity Clubs Hotel in South Bend, Indiana, and other private commissions.
