Arie Luyendyk is one of the most popular and talented drivers of the Indy Car circuit. The winner of the 1990 Indianapolis 500, Arie captured the "Pole Position" for the 1993 Indy 500, qualifying at 223.967 mph. Joe Barden's striking image depicts Arie pulling out of the pit area for his historic run. Each print is personally autographed by Arie Luyendyk.
About the Artist: Joe Barden, a self taught artist, has been drawing and painting all his life. He chose to go commercial in December of 1991 with the completion of "Little Al's Long Beach Grand Slam". Since his debut, Joe has sold original pieces and prints in the U.S., Canada, and Austrailia. His work hangs in the private collections of Indy car team managers, owners, drivers, adn at corporations such as Philip Morris and Zenith Data Systems.
